The following are the core beliefs of Impulse Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
THE BIBLE IS OUR AUTHORITY
The sole basis for our belief is the Bible, which is God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it speaks.

God made humans in His image to have fellowship with Him, but we defied God by going our own way. Everyone is stained by the nature of disobedience, called sin. Sin separates us from God and causes problems in our life. As a result, we need God’s saving grace to end our alienation from Him.

Born of a virgin, Jesus lived and walked the earth sinless and blameless. He died on a cross as a sacrifice for all our sins. On the third day, He rose from the dead to demonstrate His power over sin and death. SALVATION IS GOD'S FREE GIFT, BUT WE MUST ACCEPT IT
No amount of good deeds will wash away our sins. We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as the person that paid the ultimate price for our sins can we be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our self-centered life and surrender it to Jesus in faith, we are saved.

There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal.
The Holy Spirit is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His ascension, to empower God’s church and draw people into a relationship with Jesus. The Holy Spirit equips believers for personal growth and service to the church.

SPIRITUAL GIFTS STILL MANIFEST IN BELIEVERS
The Holy Spirit is manifested through spiritual gifts to build and sanctify the church, demonstrate the validity of the resurrection, and confirm the power of the Gospel.

WE BELIEVE IN WATER BAPTISM
Christ commanded His people to be baptized in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
